These are the forex brokers we have reviewed, ranked by overall score under our published methodology, which weights regulation and client protection most heavily. The best broker for a given trader also depends on which entity may serve their country, the platform they use and how they trade, so each pick says what it is best for.

How we chose the best forex brokers

Every broker on this list has at least one entity authorised by a national regulator with a public register, and every score follows our review methodology. The current reviews are based on information published by each broker and on the regulators’ registers; scores are updated when brokers change their terms.

Before you choose a broker

The protections you receive depend on the legal entity that opens your account, not on the brand: a broker with an FCA licence may still serve you from an offshore entity. Check the entity in the client agreement on the regulator’s register before depositing: how to choose a forex broker, forex regulation.
