Is Tickmill or Exness safer?
The main difference is which regulated entities serve retail clients. Tickmill serves UK clients through an FCA-authorised entity and EU clients through a CySEC-licensed one, and states that negative balance protection and segregated client funds apply to all clients. Exness serves retail clients only through offshore entities, mainly in Seychelles; its CySEC and FCA entities do not serve retail clients, according to Exness. Both state that they offer negative balance protection. For a client outside Europe, both accounts would usually be held with an offshore entity: forex regulation.
