About FX Handbook

Last updated

FX Handbook is an independent, English-language encyclopedia of the foreign exchange market. Our goal is simple: to give a clear, accurate and complete answer to every question people ask about forex — from “what is a pip?” to how central banks move currencies.

What we cover

  • The wiki: in-depth articles on forex basics, currency pairs, technical and fundamental analysis, strategies, risk management, trading psychology, brokers and regulation, trading platforms and market history.
  • The glossary: plain-English definitions of trading terms, each with an example.
  • Tools: free calculators and a live market-hours clock, each with the formula explained so you can check the maths yourself.

How we work

Every page follows our editorial policy: we answer the question directly, show the calculations, cite primary sources such as central banks, regulators and the Bank for International Settlements wherever a page relies on figures, rules or statistics, and record when a page was last reviewed. If you spot a mistake, our corrections policy explains how we fix it.

Independence

FX Handbook is an educational resource. We do not manage money, give personal investment advice or sell trading signals. We currently have no commercial relationships with brokers; if that changes, it will be disclosed on our affiliate disclosure page and will never influence what our educational content says.

Who publishes FX Handbook

FX Handbook is published by Borsanın İzinden Danışmanlık Finans ve Eğitim Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi, a company registered in İzmir, Türkiye. You can reach the editorial team at contact@fxhandbook.com — see our contact page.
