For active traders, the lowest-cost forex accounts are usually raw spread accounts that charge a commission. How to compare low spread brokers
The cost of a trade is the spread plus any commission, so a 0.0 pip spread with a $7 commission costs the same as a 0.7 pip spread with no commission, for one standard lot with a pip value of about $10.
