Which Exness entity would open my account?

Exness lists several companies on exness.com for clients “in selected jurisdictions outside the EEA”: Exness (SC) Ltd in Seychelles, Exness B.V. in Curaçao, Exness (VG) Ltd in the British Virgin Islands and Forexite Ltd in Belize, but does not say on its website which entity a given client is assigned to. Its CySEC-licensed entity, Exness (Cy) Ltd, and its FCA-registered entity, Exness (UK) Ltd, do not serve retail clients, according to Exness. Separate local entities serve Kenya, Jordan and South Africa through their own websites.

For a retail client outside those countries, this means the account is held with an offshore entity, where rules on leverage, client money and complaints differ from those in the EU, UK or Australia: forex regulation. The client agreement names the entity: how to choose a forex broker.

Exness unlimited leverage: what does it mean?

Exness advertises leverage of up to 1:Unlimited on its global accounts, which means the margin required to open a position can be very small. Leverage does not change the profit or loss per pip; it changes how large a position the deposit allows, so very high leverage makes it possible to lose the whole balance on a small price move. Exness states that it offers negative balance protection, so losses should not exceed the account balance: what is leverage in forex.

Exness Standard vs Raw Spread: which costs less?

The Standard account has no commission and a published average EUR/USD spread of about 0.8 pips; the Raw Spread account has spreads from 0 pips and a commission of up to $3.50 per lot per side.

Cost of one standard lot of EUR/USD
Standard: about 0.8 pips average, no commission$8
Raw Spread: from 0 pips + up to $7 commission$7

Illustrative only: Exness's published average spread (Standard) and advertised minimum spread plus maximum commission (Raw Spread), USD account, pip value about $10, no swap or slippage.

Exness deposits and withdrawals

Exness describes its funding as commission-free but notes that deposit fees may apply to specific payment methods. It states that over 98% of withdrawals are processed automatically and that others are processed within 24 hours, seven days a week; the time to receive the funds depends on the payment method. The list of available methods is shown only after logging in.
