Before you buy a challenge from Pakistan

A prop firm challenge is a fee-based evaluation on a simulated account, not a deposit with a broker: prop firm challenge explained. Pakistan’s rules do not mention prop firms by name. In EPD Circular Letter No. 08 of 2022, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) says that buying products from offshore forex, margin and CFD trading platforms by residents of Pakistan violates section 4(1) of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1947, and that remittances to “overseas foreign exchange trading, margin trading, and CFD trading apps/ websites/ platforms”, directly or indirectly, through any payment channel are not allowed; it has told banks to stop such payments. The firms on this page offer forex and CFD instruments on simulated accounts, so whether a challenge falls under that wording is a matter of interpretation; a lawyer in Pakistan can advise: is forex trading legal in Pakistan.

This page lists firms that accept traders from Pakistan. It is not a statement that paying them is lawful for a resident of Pakistan; that decision, and its risk, are the reader’s. Rules and firm terms as of October 2026.

From each firm’s own help pages and terms, checked October 2026. Firms change country lists and payment methods often, so check them again before buying. This table lists each firm’s published methods; it is not advice on how to send or receive money from Pakistan, and SBP rules on payment channels apply whichever method is used.

What prop firm payouts are

Firms describe their payouts differently. FTMO calls the money a reward “for the data you generate”, and FundedNext’s terms say a reward “does not constitute profit obtained in the real market”; The5ers and Alpha Capital describe a share of profits. The label a firm uses does not decide how Pakistan’s rules treat the payment. FTMO, FundedNext and The5ers state that the trader is responsible for any tax due; how payouts are taxed in Pakistan is a question for a tax adviser.

How we chose these firms

The list includes every prop firm we have reviewed that accepts traders from Pakistan, ranked by overall score under our prop firm review methodology. Some of these firms pay us a commission when a reader buys a challenge; this does not affect scores or order. Scores are based on each firm’s $100,000 challenge; the FundedNext cap means traders in Pakistan can buy only smaller accounts there.
