Who owns FundedNext?
FundedNext is operated by FundedNext Ltd, Comoros (website run by FundedNext Limited, Hong Kong), founded in 2022. On whether accounts are simulated, FundedNext states: “All trading occurs in a demo environment using virtual capital.”
Payout data: FundedNext states "$389.0M+ rewarded to traders" and that 99.99% of rewards are processed within 24 hours (read on 3 October 2026). It does not say that these figures are independently audited.
Is FundedNext legit?
FundedNext launched on 18 March 2022. According to its website, trading is carried out by FundedNext Ltd, registered in the Comoros Islands; fundednext.com is operated by FundedNext Limited in Hong Kong, and the trademark belongs to GrowthNext F.Z.E. in the UAE, where the help centre places its head office.
FundedNext describes itself as not subject to conventional financial regulations, and all its accounts are simulated. This is how most prop firms work: are prop firms legit?
FundedNext Stellar 2-Step vs 1-Step vs Lite
All three challenges use a static maximum loss, measured from the initial balance, and none has a time limit:
- Stellar 2-Step: targets of 8% and 5%, a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% maximum loss. The fee is refunded with the first reward.
- Stellar 1-Step: one 10% target, a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum loss, so the room for losses is smaller than the target. Rewards every five business days; the fee is refunded with the third reward.
- Stellar Lite: the lowest fee, with targets of 8% and 4%, a 4% daily loss limit and an 8% maximum loss. The fee is refunded with the third reward.
The daily loss limit counts closed and floating losses, including swaps and commissions, and resets at midnight server time (GMT+2, GMT+3 in summer): daily drawdown.
Room before the maximum loss on $100,000 (illustrative only)
Static floors from the initial balance: Stellar 2-Step $90,000, Stellar Lite $92,000, Stellar 1-Step $94,000. A static floor does not rise with profits: after a $5,000 gain on the 1-Step, the room to the floor is $11,000.
What rules apply on a FundedNext funded account?
Funded accounts carry rules that the challenge does not:
- Risk limit: open risk is capped at 3% of the initial balance at any time. A first violation removes the profit from those trades; a second sets the account to a 1% limit permanently.
- News: only 40% of the profit from trades opened or closed within five minutes of high-impact news on a correlated pair counts.
- Very short trades: trades closed within 30 seconds must make up less than 30% of profit.
- Expert advisors: not allowed on accounts of $50,000 and above, including $100,000.
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite accounts.
How do FundedNext payouts work?
The default profit split is 80%, rising to 90% through the FundedNext Pro scale-up programme, or 95% with a paid add-on. On Stellar 2-Step and Lite, the first reward comes after 21 days and later rewards every 14 days by default; other schedules can be chosen at checkout, at a different split. Stellar 1-Step pays every five business days. FundedNext Pro adds 25% to the account per qualifying cycle, up to $4 million.
Who can join FundedNext?
FundedNext’s help centre lists 20 countries whose residents and citizens it does not accept, including Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Belarus and Myanmar; its website footer also names Iran and Russia. US traders are accepted, on Match-Trader only for CFDs.
